Files are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded
Take unwanted pages out of a PDF without printing, re-scanning or opening a heavy editor. Open your document, see every page as a thumbnail, click the ones you don't want and download the shorter PDF. You can also type page numbers or ranges such as 2, 4-6, or mark all odd or even pages in one click.
The tool edits the original document instead of rebuilding it, so bookmarks that lead to the pages you keep, form fields and page-number labels carry over. Content that belonged only to the removed pages is dropped, so the file usually gets smaller. Large files are handled in your browser, up to 500MB, and nothing is uploaded.
Keeping only a few pages? Extract Pages does the reverse and saves just the pages you choose.
Good to know
- Mark pages by clicking thumbnails or by typing ranges such as 2, 4-6. Quick actions: select all, clear, invert, odd pages and even pages.
- Bookmarks to the remaining pages, form fields and page-number labels are kept. Bookmarks that pointed to deleted pages are removed.
- Links and cross-references that pointed to a deleted page stop working.
- At least one page must remain. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Files up to 500MB; nothing is uploaded.
How it works
Open your PDF
Drop the PDF into the upload area or click to browse. Every page appears as a thumbnail, even for long documents.
Mark the pages to remove
Click pages to mark them with a cross, or type page numbers and ranges and press Mark pages. Invert, odd and even shortcuts save time.
Delete and download
Press the delete button to create the shorter PDF, check the new page count, then download it.
Common use cases
Drop blank and scan-error pages
Remove the empty back sides, cover sheets and upside-down scans that a document feeder leaves behind.
Remove private or irrelevant pages before sharing
Take out an appendix, a page with personal details or a draft cover so that only the relevant pages are sent.
Trim a long report
Cut the chapters a reader does not need and keep the rest, with bookmarks and form fields still working on the pages that remain.
