Good to know

  • Text watermarks only. You can set font size, color (red, blue, gray or black), opacity, rotation and one of five positions.
  • Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese, Japanese and Korean text is supported. Arabic, Hebrew, Indic and Thai scripts are not supported yet.
  • Apply the watermark to all pages or to a page range such as 1-3, 5.
  • Fonts are loaded from this site; your PDF itself is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Choose All Pages to cover the whole document, or switch to Page Range and enter something like 1-3, 5 to watermark only those pages. This is handy when only the first page or a signature page needs to carry the mark.

Can I make the watermark subtle?

Yes. Lower the opacity slider and increase the rotation angle to create a faint diagonal mark that does not obscure the text beneath it.

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. The watermark is rendered in your browser. The file never leaves your device, which matters for confidential or draft material.
